• No, not a trick question. On PNY website, max read speed is listed as 200 MB/s (MB per second). Transfer speed is listed as "up to 30x faster than standard USB 2.0," but that may apply to the USB transfer rate and not necessarily the write speed of the entire device.

• It's SUPPOSED to transfer at 200 MB/s. But my testing reveals it doesn't.
