I just connect it to to flash drive location in my chrome book .

Please try again later.LOL, you "Install" this Memory Thumb Drive by inserting it into any USB slot on your desktop or laptop computer - - - Go to "File Explorer" and in the "Devices and drives" area you will see this new device as a drive letter, like: "PNY (D:)" or similar to that. The letter shown might not be the actual Thumb Drive Letter, but you will recognize a new device you connected to your computer, double click on it to see the empty contents of the new Thumb Drive. - - - If you want to use it as RAM memory for your computer, it is not meant for that purpose and you would need to buy the correct memory that goes inside your computer. This PNY Memory is used to put data onto, like: Pictures or MP3 music.
