No external power only gets power from the PCI slot on your motherboard, no 6 or 8 pin psu cables

The card uses a 6pin PCIE connector from the Powersupply as well as an 8pin PCIE.

There is no way this card draws 16A at 12 volts. Yes, it does get it's power from the PCIe slot. Most power supplies barely produce 16A@ +12volts. Reread the specs

The GT610 draws all of its power from the slot.
