IF you plugged in two 16Gb DDR-4 3200MH chips you'd get 32g of ram... not 36g of ram as you want... however the spec's from HP say Maximum ram is 16g. It has 2 DDR4 slots. https://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/4AA7-3902EEAP.pdf
