• It takes time for the picture to develop, once shot is taken and picture comes out store in a dark place, can take 5-10 minutes for picture to appear. Photo will appear black at first. Just gove it time.

• Hi Nametag, The photos do instantly eject from the camera, but the development of instant film is a complex chemical process that takes some time. Color photos take about 10 minutes to fully develop and B&W photos take 5-7 minutes to fully develop.
