“I know this soundbar has passthrough when ot is on but does it standby passthrough for when rec is off to play through TV speakers instead of soundbar”

• Yes the soundbar is always on standby when it's plugged in. When you turn your TV on the soundbar will automatically come on and you will be able to adjust the volume with your TV remote control. You don't even need to touch the remote for the soundbar for this operation.

• This will not pass anything when in standby mode, but it will prevent tv speakers from kicking in if set to auto as it still senses the connection of the sound bar / receiver via ARC
