“Why is the volume on the sound bar so slow to respond to the remote? I have it connected to a TCL 75 S434 smart TV via HDMI ARC. The response is so slow that you end up blasting yourself out and then turning the volume completely off before it responds.”

Hello, are you using the TCL TV remote or the Sound Bar remote. If TCL remote has been programmed, it could be sending 2 commands at the same time slowing the response time. IR signal and ARC signal.
