Q: QuestionI have been looking but do not see the answer anywhere, if I were to get these for the top of two other speakers, would they each occupy an additional channel. My system is a 5.2 and I already have the center, two sides, and left and right rear.

• A:Answer If your system is 5.2 that means 5 channels and 2 subs. Sounds like the setup your looking for is 5.1.2 or 5.2.2. Check owners manual and the back of your receiver make sure there's outputs for heights or should say rear surround. If you don't have any these then you need a new receiver. From the reviews I've watched on YouTube you may not get the effect you're looking for by placing these on the top of your speakers. These really shine a lot if you install them on the wall. I installed them on the wall as rear heights and they sound fantastic brought in a lot of midrange sound! You can try and put them on of your speakers if don't hear any difference in sound throw them on the wall. Don't forget to flip the switch on the back of the speaker for wall or on top speaker. Hope this helps!
