• The newer ones will fit as well as the older ones. It is easily interchangeable by twisting the top off of the neck.

• Yes you can change it and read the instructions if you put water on it it will come off

• As far as I can tell you can not change tops on it.

• Most of the pop sockets are changeable with a twist action from the base. I don’t know if this is true for all pop sockets.
