The mount uses 3m double sided tape so once removed you would have to replace the tape.

I actually moved mine once after fully sticking it on my dash and it didn't seem to lose its adhesiveness it's still solid to this day.

I re positioned mine several times (4-5 times) when I got it to test out where I liked it best and it never lost its adhesiveness. Its a very strong, and its somewhat difficult to get off but I would assume that's the way you'd prefer it to be.

I actually moved mine three times before I finally placed it where I wanted it. It has been sticking just fine but it is on a smooth flat surface.

ONCE IT STICKS, THE ADHESIVE STICKS. IF IT'S MOVED, THE ADHESIVE WILL NOT REAPPLY TO THE NEW SURFACE.

I find it depends a little bit on the surface but I did get an extra scotch circle disk included in case I did need to change it later.

No you would definitely need new adhesive. The 3M adhesive they give you is sooooo strong. I accidentally broke the plastic piece and had to get a new pop socket bracket. It took me a while to get it off and a lotta extra elbow grease.

Yes, you can reposition. At least on the popsocket you can move them on your phone. I usually wash off and then stick back on.

The adhesive will lose some of its effectiveness if moved. You can always replace the adhesive with 3M double sided adhesive strip or similar if it fails due to moving.

any double stick tape will allow you to re-use

its just 3M double stick tape on it... 

this is not the same sticking stuff they use on the pop socket
