Would anyone who owns this feel safe mounting this to the inside of a motorcycle fairing? In other words, does the 3M tape seem to be strong enough to keep if from falling off randomly? null

I would not mount it to the inside of a motorcycle fairing. It is strong enough for a car; however, the bumps in the road are more pronounced on a motorcycle... as I am sure you know.

The tape is very durable, the one i bought for my car has lasted me over a year now, in all conditions with the phone sitting in it, being pulled on by someone who doesnt know how to use it correctly. Worked fine for me!

No, not just the tape to the holder, but the device into the holder. No locking mechanism. It just slips in, so it can just slip out.

I would not risk it. The tape works, but the road vibration and exposure to elements probably exceed the tapes design.

In my opinion I do think it is strong enough. Now it's up to you if you put it inside of a motorcycle fairing, I would say their could possibilities of it failing, because of the wind, remember your on a motorcycle. Just be careful, don't want your cellphone to get ruined.

Seems strong enough to hold if you follow the instructions correctly but if you hit a bump it may not be secure. The top is open so it just slides in and nothing holds it from sliding back out.

I would be wary of it myself. Get some better double sided tape you know will last and is stronger, then replace the tape on the mount.

Not strong enough! I’ve had Them fall off my hand while using them. I can’t imagine what would happen with the friction on the motorcycle. I recommend bungee cords or duct tape that fixes everything!

As long as it's not *directly* in the wind, it should be ok. As a test, I would find something of similar size, shape, and weight of your phone, and use that with a popsocket on there, and see how that works.

No! I’m quite confident that the double sided tape will hold with no problems. The problem is that the pop socket doesn’t lock into place. It would surely bounce out of the cradle.

No, the 3M tape is not strong enough. It wont even stay mounted in my car with my iPhone 7. Don't waste your money!
