It has to be one of the newer phones with a MagSafe case so that it can magnetize to it!

Has to be MagSafe which is mentioned in the description. For now it seems like iPhone cases are the ones making MagSafe cases.

You need a case with a magnetic strip built in otherwise it won’t stay on.

works on all the cases i used but i use the ones with the magsafe ring on them hold is your frim. i would not rec for other phones of even non magsafe iphones

It works with the MagSafe cases or with the universal kit that adds the MagSafe functionality to non iPhones with qi charging.
