That is where you stick the pop socket permanently so that you could take it off without any problem because the plate has a magnet which is the only thing hung that’s holding your phone or case to the pop socket … but my advise is for you a buy a round metal plate shaped like the size of the white cutout on the back of your case and stick that on the back of your phone (or case) (NOT INSIDE) so the pop socket plate would hold much stronger… like what I have in my phone case - so it will still charge your phone when you put it in on a wireless charging pad…
