Yes. You hold down if it button for like 20 seconds each time. Kind of a hassle.

Register the unit with a free trial. Then cancel. Yes, you have to put a credit card in. Just make sure you enter the cc with the free trial or you have to pay $39. Once you do, it’s freed forever. You don’t need ifit. I got dinged for $39 when I activated.
