However, if you still want to have ice and water available, we would recommend changing the water filter as directed. The reason is, once the filter has filled with all the collected contaminants, you will notice a reduction in water flow and ice production. A:AnswerI have used Puresource ultra and Puresource 3 filteres interchangeably on my fridge. Look at the hole your filter slides into. If your refrigerator has two grooves (one wide on top and a narrow groove to the top left) you may use either filter. If you have only the groove on top you must use the Puresource Ultra. It is NOT always best to use origional parts!!
