- Answer Yes — but not on its own. The PHSP5 is a passive horn speaker (it does not have a built‑in amplifier or wireless/CB receiver). You can use it with your CB radio only if you connect it through an amplifier or your CB’s speaker output that can drive an 8 Ω speaker.
