“I have a Sansui P-2000 turntable. And have tried to connect to a Sony STR-DE197. Do I need a phone stage/pre-amp? And the receiver does not have a phone input. Can I connect the RCA outputs to any of the inputs on the receiver?”

• Use this or similar if your receiver does not have phono input and connect it to Aux input..

• Yes will need a pre amp. I recommend the PP999 it can be connected to the RCA inputs of the receiver.
