“I am holding a party in a space down down from my apartment and want to know the range for bluetooth connected device. I also noticed 2 different battery charage claims. The site says 4-6 hours, the literature says 2-3 hours. Can I plug and play?”

hi in regards to the Bluetooth range, it is very hard to answer. the range is about 30ft without obstacle. but there are concrete and walls between the stories. in regards to charging, the very first time or if the battery is TOTALLY empty, you need 4-6 hours to charge the unit fully. after that, 2-3 hours are enough to charge the unit if the battery is not fully empty.
