- Answer It has a headphone jack and the built in speakers. Speakers are adequate for the price range. I has some adjustment for Bass, Midrange and treble.

- Answer yes, it does have battery option. there is a battery compartment on back of the unit fits 4, D size Alkaline batteries. this unit can work with 110 and 220 volts AC, as well.
