• It is powered by a AA battery... can't charge it. Battery lasts forever though and has a sleep mode you can customize!

• it uses a battery, so you dont have to charge it, just change the battery when it gets low

• It takes a normal double AA battery, you can use Bluetooth on it or the USB receiver that comes with it, Bluetooth will drain the battery faster.
