For PCs with a single audio port, it can connect using its single 3.5 mm audio+mic jack. The included audio/mic splitter cable is for those PC with separate stereo output and mic input.

It has two 3.5mm jacks, one green, and one pink..respectively one for audio and one for the mic.

It comes with two cords. You can use one on console or both on PC. When hooking up the headphones I had to use the other headphone Jack (included) and plug both in because are two microphone jacks.

You wouldn't have to use the connector then. Just plug it directly into the dual use port and it will work.
