you can contact the place of purchase for a refund of the difference within 30 days in most cases.

Typically they will make a price adjustment for you. Take your receipt to customer service and if it's been a reasonable amount of time, they will return the product and then sell it to you again at the lower price without even having to package it up and bring it back. They do this because there is a 15 day return policy which left them with a lot of open box items. All ya gotta do is ask!

You can take your receipt back and get the difference for up to 30 days, also they price match..

It happens to the best of us and most of the time if you call best buy and plea your case to them they will refund the difference to you
