you can contact the place of purchase for a refund of the difference within 30 days in most cases.

Take your receipt to customer service and if it's been a reasonable amount of time, they will return the product and then sell it to you again at the lower price without even having to package it up and bring it back. They do this because there is a 15 day return policy which left them with a lot of open box items. All ya gotta do is ask!
