• Usually you gotta have razer's App called Razer Synapse that will help you install and configure it more. I believe it might be what use you connected to that is causing the issue. Try switching to another USB. Another option will be to troubleshoot it. If that does not work try sending it back and asking for a replacement.

• Depending on Os might to to an update as this is a plug and play, you do need the app to use the lights and customize it.
