Will this be comparable with a chrome book? null

I think that you meant to say compatible and yes the keyboard runs off of USB and any computer / laptop that has a USB 3.0, 2.0, etc., can attach this or any keyboard as a peripheral and use it instead of the keyboard located on the laptop. Many people add an additional keyboard and monitor to laptops and run them like desktops.
