• A:Answer Linear “should” be the most silent of the 3 types. Tactile makes a little noise, clicky will possibly wake the the wife or roomies up.

• A:Answer You can use any MX style switch. Razer finally made a pretty decent keyboard with the blackwidow v4. Note only the v4 bw is hot swappable.
