will this work with a Nikon 7500 null

If it has an onboard microphone plug it should work. this one will record on both channels I had a battery powered microphone before but only recorded on one channel. It has a mini stereo plug male. If you have an earphone or something that you plug into your cell phone you can kind of use it as a microphone to see if this thing will record the sound it will be bad but at least will know preamp will work on your camera. Dead cat works well.

If you have a Mini plug for microphone it should work if it’s stereo it records on both channels.
