“Can and how would the person recording hear my audio with headphones? For example lets say I was to record a long segment out in public can the person recording me listen to the audio while its rolling to make sure everything sounds good and is working?”

Great question. I use the rode connect app.It’s for Mac and PC. This app is basically a software version of a Rodecaster. All you have to do is connect the receiver to your computer and It gives you access to soundpads audio sliders and it allows you the ability to connect headphones to your computer to monitor audio.
