Yes. This mouse has all the same functionality of a regular office mouse, and then some. I also use this for everyday work on my computer as well as for playing games on occasion. This mouse has a very nice shape to it that includes individual grooves for both your ring and pinky fingers to rest in which makes it very comfortable for working with. It also includes two buttons on the side near where your thumb rests that can be mapped in games, but they default to being "page foward" and "page back" buttons for web browsers during regular use. You can also turn off the colorful lighting effects if you want, as well as adjust the cursor sensitivity to your liking with the two buttons behind the scroll wheel.

It’s not just gaming-specific and some buttons even make it easier for browsing such as going back a page or going back to another page. I recommend it!
