Hello. We appreciate you reaching out – we know how important finding the right water filter is, and we’re glad to advise. That model was indeed originally designed to use our MWF/MWFP filters, but we did make a change to the type of filter it uses in June 2018. If your refrigerator was manufactured after that date, it would use our XWF/XWFE filter. The model/serial number tag on your unit should clarify the manufacturing date, but if you’re still unsure which filter your refrigerator would use, you’re more than welcome to reach out to us over social media; we would be glad to look into this further, or help with any other questions or concerns you have.
