Do I need to remove my Samsung phone from it's case? null

I have used this with iphone 11s in an otterbox case, and have no issues.

I have a case over my S9+ and it charges as it sits in the holder. I do not have a phone or grip piece on it.

If you wants to use the charging feature yes but you just want to mount your phone no it’ll work with and without case

No, the only way will be if the case is made out of metal o a very hard case.

Try it with the case to see if it will charge. You might have to remove the case before using it. Just have to try and see.

No you don't. Opening is wide enough to hold phone with no problem. I have a Galaxy note 10 and it fits fine. Great charger by the way.
