Hello Bill, Thank you for taking the time out of your day to post a question, in this case this coaxial splitter should work with an indoor antenna, but in order to have it work you would need to adjust some settings on your TV. I have my powered connection connected to the in on the splitter and two antennas one that came with the powered antenna and the other is a HD antenna. Both antennas are powered now. But I have had no problems with my tv or reception. And the picture quality is great on my UHD 4K TV. If you need to know Samsung 50' UHD 7100.

I have tried 11 different antennas over time and the very best antenna to get at Best Buy is the ClearStream. I get 120 channels on antenna only!! You can't beat that!!! There is no other antenna to consider using!! $149
