max weight? what is the most weight this can hold while attached to the windshield of an automobile?

i see it supports iPhones and such but what about other mp3 players that weigh more then the iPhone? seeing how you can resize it i understand that part will not be a problem but i dont want my player falling and breaking once it is installed.

i did read where someone said it held their GPS unit but did not describe the unit.

i have heard a lot of very positive things about your product and will purchase depending on what you guys have experienced on the weight.

I use an iPhone with it, but I would be more than comfortable with much, much more weight. I would trust it to hold up pretty much any portable device that will fit in its claws. This thing is really, really sturdy and heavy duty. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it, and as I get more and more used to it, I get more and more impressed with it.
