I bought this thinking i could plug it via usb and charge the battery, I was wrong. So I know now I have to buy the rocketfish docking station that attaches on an XB1 I’m a PC guy I don’t have an XB1, will it charge without an XB1. Like on the wall? null

This battery can charge while inside of controller plugged into console or usb wall charger. The other way to charge it is in a separate charger.

Actually for mine, I used the controller cable that came with the xbox and it charges fine, no issues.

You can always get a PowerA charging dock. That is what charges the battery pack while it’s in the controller! Hope that helps

You can install the battery pack in the controller and charge it via USB.

These are for the wireless controllers for xb1. I know when they are in the controller and you put them on a charging dock they recharge
