Can the voice control be deactivated? null

Yeah it was a pain to shut it up. It kept talking to me and it was driving me nuts. It does use user voice control to control it if you have the right model.

I found the voice control only worked when then speaker button was held down on the remote.

Hello, squirt! The Voice control, by default, is inactive. To activate, press the Voice Command button while speaking into the microphone at the top of the remote. With the Roku Voice remote, you can use your voice to search for content quickly, play entertainment, and more.
