Mine is plugged into my receiver which passes the video to my TV. If your receiver has multiple video outputs from a single input, then the answer is likely yes.

I have an older Onkyo 7.1 reciever w/ HDMI inputs that i use with our projector. I have a Roku Ultra plugged into it and a cable box. We have to switch inputs, but it works just fime. The projector uses the only output Hdmi on the receiver though...do you have 2 for output to TV as well?  
If you have room, i guess you could plug the stick in, but a Roku like the Ulra with a cable connection may be easier.
