Same thing happened to us. Seemed to heat up, kick off and after a few times would not stay reset. We returned 2.

First you'll want to make sure all connections are secure and firmly attached. Additionally, if your Roku Streaming Stick 4K is currently being powered from your TVs USB port, you will want to plug it into a wall outlet with the included power adapter.
