“Is it necessary to have a cable connection to my TV to use Roku? I have only rabbit ears for the signal on my TV and I am not able to turn Roku on. Is it possible to connect to the modem on my PC to get a connection to my TV? Thanks”

Roku requires internet. The internet gets connected to the Roku which gets connected to the tv. You dont need cable t v.

A reliable Wi-Fi broadband internet connection with a minimum 3 to 5 Mbps (Megabits Per Second) is required to stream HD (High Definition) content. The Ultra does have an Ethernet port that would give you the option to direct connect via Ethernet Cable (Not included) to your router or modem.
