You can take pictures and videos with the case closed and you can also turn the flash on or off as well. It's pretty neat.

Yes thats one of many things really great about this case. Take photos, make calls, notification, screen saver. It all there.

Yes you can still use the camera. The camera icon shows up in the window and you use it the same as on the home screen

Yes, because you must choose the Camera function on the phone screen. However, just wrap the cover 'round the back. The window will not block the lens of the camera; Fido can still get photographed; you will be happy.
