Is this directional or omnidirectional? null

I did a test to make sure of my answer. The mic appears to be directional. When the power light side is facing me, the sound is good, as I turn the mic to face the light away from me, the sound diminished.

The documentation that comes with the mic (yes, it actually comes with documentation!) describes it as having a cardioid pattern, which would be directional. However, the documentation did not have a diagram of the pickup pattern, so it could be just slightly cardioid and somewhat directional. It is definitely not a super directional mic. I really like how the Samson performs as a desktop mic For Zoom meetings.
