• Hi Karen, Samsung recommends leaving at least 4" of space behind and on the sides of the MG11H2020CT and 8" above it for ventilation. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

• Mine is in a cabinet. The opening is bigger than necessary for the microwave, so it has room to breath, but we haven't had any problems.

• Yes, it will get too hot, put it on proper ventilation for you to slide in your cabinet.

• I have mine in a cabinet with a bit of clearance. I had no problem with heat when trying the grill feature. But, I only used it on combo.

• yes. we are using it now and it is fit in a built-in cabinet. This was one of the criteria that it will be fit inside the cabinet space. it is light and has a good inner capacity.
