No it doesn’t. Did not realize immediately. Parents did not want to spend time researching replacement. Extremely annoying that panel doesn’t light up. Thought it was standard feature as has been on all appliances I have ever purchased in last 15 years. The oven range purchased at same time has light up control panel. Not sure why this feature is not included on microwave. Won’t buy same brand again without this feature!

It's a little annoying when you just want to heat something for 30 seconds and you have to turn the kitchen light on to do it. Plus it should be an option to just press the 30 second button without pressing the start key as well. 30 second button should be a quick function without the extra step a pressing start along with it. Other than that it is an awesome Microwave.

My $80 Panasonic installed in my rental unit is smarter than this stupid Samsung smart device (that cost six times more). It's got WiFi, but you can't work it in the dark.

For the $$ I paid for this complete High end Samsung suite it is a huge disappointment for me. Wish I never bought it. Not to mention almost 3 month delivery wait. LAME!!!
