When my out of box microwave was plugged in for the first time the light turned on inside, the turntable started spinning When I plug it in it spins and the inside light turns on and it makes a sound like its cooking. The only way to get this all to stop is to unplug it. This is the first time out of box so it's brand new. How can I fix this? I live 4 hours from closest best buy...

Sounds defective to me. You have ONLY two weeks to return/exchange it at BestBuy from the date of delivery.. After that,,you must call Samsung under warranty which is usually a hassle.I would rush to exchange it at BB if you still have time.Also,you could request a prepaid return label from BB .It is bad that BB has only 14 days instead of 30 days return policy if you get a lemon. In such cases it is best to call BB customer service right away within the 14 days period..Good luck.Monika

Call Samsung Support they can answer this.. I suspect you need to return it or have them send a technician onsite to repair it under warranty.

I doubt you can fix it, I am guessing the controller board is bad causing it to think its cooking. Might have to exchange it. Have the store plug the new one inbefore you leave, I learned my lesson on opening certain items before leaving when I got a smashed one once.
