A:AnswerThis comes with a template and mounting hardware to attach to an above the stove cabinet. If you do not have a cabinet above the stove you will need something to attach this to.
A:AnswerHi, the grease filter should be cleaned with mild soap and water or in a dishwasher. The charcoal filter should be replaced every 6 months. Both of these, are sold separately. ^Rosi
A:AnswerWe appreciate you reaching out to us with your inquiry, Mary. The dimensional measurements are of the main body of the unit and do not include the handle. Thank you for your interest in this product!
A:AnswerIt will depend upon the type of microwave you have. The biggest question is: is it a vented microwave? In other words, does the cabinet above the microwave have ducting that goes somewhere? If it is ducted, you will need to have ducting go from the microwave to an outside vent. You may be able to tap into the existing ducting but you would need someone to look and see if that's possible. Some microwaves are non vented. If that's the case, yes, you could move it to a new location to use it.
I'm not a professional but my responses have some experience behind them. Go to a big DIY store and they could help you out. Or check the model number of the microwave you have and Google it.
Good luck
A:AnswerI ran into the same problem. The microwave comes with a standard three prong plug that fits into an outlet. You have two options: you can either install an outlet to the existing wires (recommended), or you can cut the plug off and hardwire to the existing wires. If you cut off the plug, you will void the warranty.
A:AnswerYou can do it either way. I didn't use the ceiling vent , the set up I used it just blows it out of the top. It gives you the items for either set up
A:AnswerNeeds duct. The vent comes out of the box venting up, but you can convert it to vent out the back. It is very easy to do this and takes no tools except for something to clip off the vent covers on the back. Takes 2 minutes start to finish to convert if needed.
