“Microwave depth? The items specs list a depth of 18.6. With a standard 12 inch upper cabinet, does this item stick out noticeably? If current MW (15.5depth) would be replaced with this item, the additional overhang would be about 3 inches , does anyone think that it gets in the way while using the stove or accessing adjoining upper cabinets?”

Hi Pat, Please note that the 18.6" depth includes the handle. The depth of the MC17J8000CS without the handle is about 16". Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
