Light over stove is. 40 watt incandescent...an has high/low setting.Inside microwave is 20 watt halogen. The vent fan has hi/med/lo and will turn on automatically to protect microwave an can run up to 30 minutes won't be able to turn off until things cool down.

According to page 64 of the User Manual, this bulb is a 40 watt incandescent bulb. While the vent fan can be turned on manually, it will also automatically turn on if the microwave senses too much heat. ^Jecca
