• Why is the fan so loud? I have had many different microwaves, but this one has a very loud fan, where you can't hear anyone next to it, as well as across the whole kitchen. I have a large kitchen, so its not because of any confined spaces.

• No. There is a 30 second button which you push and then have to push start
