Regardless, there is no screw "Protruding" on my same type microwave. However there are a few screws inside the microwave one on the right hand side, that appears to be holding a rectangular brown colored "access panel" , and 3 screws in the top of the inside of the microwave that appear to be holding another "access panel" that is round and brown colored . Hope this helps.

A:AnswerYes! It mounts to the wall with a bracket and bolts through the bottom of the cabinet. The bolt holes are made using ba template that lines up with the back of the cabinet

A:AnswerMust and should are the key words. No matter what you do, you still have a 4" vent . If you were doing this yourself, I would stick to what the local Ace, Home Depot have in stock. As long as you maintain a open unobstructed transition to the 4" exhaust pipe, hose, you should have no problems venting to the outside. Outside labor can easily double the initial cost of the microwave. I custom made my vent from what parts that were available at my local hardware stores and it came out fine.
