“When I am using the microwave, the vent fan will not work correctly. I can only get #1 and #2 power to work. The more powerful vent fan settings (3 and 4) do not work. Does anyone else have this problem?”

The explanation I got for this issue is during cooking operation the power of the microwave is diverted more for cooking which diminishes the power towards the fan. That's why you can only get 2 speeds instead of 4 during cooking.
