• No, it has the vent exit options, too the rear, upwards in the back into a hood chimney, or out to the front. You'll have to reverse the blower but the instructions are simple and includes.

• You can do it either way, vented to the outside or not. I have had it NOT vented to the outside for three different models, and I have never had a problem with that.

• NO IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE VETED, YOU WILL HAVE TO TURN FAN 90 DEGREES IT WILL GIVE YOU THE WAY TO DO IT IN THE INSTALL MANUAL

• No it doesn't need to be vented outdoors. It recirculates and is just fine that way.

• No, we do not have it vented to the outside. The installers will talk you thru it, and will set it up. It has parts for both, so I would definitely pay to have them install it.

• No, you can vent to the room when you install it. very easy to do.
