No . . . I watched the installation. I had a GE Profile and that mounting kit was a square "U" shape. It had to be removed. The Samsung has just a horizontal bar, and it's a little different than the GE so you can't use it. You have to use the template that's enclosed, so it's a little tricky. My installer, a former engineer, installed mine without incidence.
